Secwepemc Cultural Education Society (SCES)SCES mandate is to preserve, record, perpetuate and enhance the language, culture and history of the Secwepemc people; build the capacity of, primarily but not solely, aboriginal peoples toward self-reliance and self-determination through training and higher education; and to foster relationships between Secwepemc and other cultures.
Secwepemc Child and Family Services AgencyThe purpose of the agency is to develop and deliver a full compliment of child protection services on behalf of the following Secwepemc bands: Adams Lake, Bonaparte, Kamloops, Neskonlith, North Thompson, Skeetchestn and Whispering Pines/Clinton. The agency works in collaboration with these seven bands with regards to child protection and the prevention of abuse and neglect of all Secwepemc children.
Qwemtsin Health Society (QHS)The Qwemtsin (meaning; by the river) Health Society is made up of the following bands: Bonaparte, Skeetchestn, Neskonlith, Kamloops and Whispering Pines/Clinton.
QHS provides services to on-reserve members such as: home care, tobacco reduction, diabetic clinics, HIV/AIDS programs, child health conferences, addictions counseling, prenatal and public health services as well as child, adult and elder wellness prevention and education programs.
